As a market leader it is always a good idea to keep one step ahead of the competition. BlackBerry is set to launch the Bold, the latest generation smartphone which is feature packed and designed to take advantage of increased connectivity speeds. Bold is the first BlackBerry to support high speed HSDPA cellular networks and comes with integrated GPS, Wi-Fi and a multimedia bag of tricks. The Bold features a high quality display, 2 mega pixel camera with video recording capability and a media player for movies and music.

 
BlackBerry clearly see the Bold as it’s first high speed handset and leaves a benchmark for the rest to follow and with Apple due to launch a 3G derivative competition is speeding up as more people want more mobile data.

NEW FIXED LINE DIVISION » 23/04/08

Link Telecom, the fast-growing independent West Yorkshire communications group, staged an open day to showcase the new heaquarters of its fixed line division at Moderna Business Park, Mytholmroyd.
The division is handling all Link Telecom’s fixed line telephone systems, network services and installations work. Major growth in business activity prompted the move to the purpose-built premises. Also responsible for UK-wide fixed line business, the operation employs a 16-strong team, with new jobs in the pipeline as the division develops its remit.
Link Telecom’s ICT director Steve Tomlinson said: “Our fixed line business is experiencing rapid growth, notably among SMEs across the region, and the new premises will allow us to underpin current and future expansion potential.
“We are now well placed to meet across-the-board voice and IT systems needs of existing and new customers in line with the group’s blueprint for future development and diversification across all key market sectors.”
Open day tours of the premises were supplemented by demonstrations of the latest state-of-the-art fixed line telephone systems and networks, along with productivity-boosting and business support applications, by Link Telecom’s partners Samsung, Inter-Tel, New Media Software and Ben Johnson Office Solutions.
